New mfa Building Grand Opening in November

If you like to see arts and paintings the mfa is a great place for you to visit. The Museum of Fine Arts (mfa) is located at 465 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA. It opens 7 days a week from Monday-Tuesday 10am-4:45pm, Wednesday-Friday 10am-9:45pm, and Saturday-Sunday 10am-4:45pm. Other special hours are posted on its website www.mfa.org. It's been a few years since I have visited the mfa. I remember I used to have a lot of fun when going to the mfa for class field trips. The mfa will have a new building opening in November 2010. The new mfa building will showcase Art of the Americas collection. The new building will have 4 levels with Level LG showcasing Ancient American, Native American, 17th -Century, and Maritime Art. Level 1 will showcase 18th-Century Art of the Colonial Americas and Early 19th-Century Art. Level 2 will showcase 19th-Century and Early 20th-Century Art. Last but not least, Level 3 will showcase 20th-Century Art through  the mid-1970's. Be sure to stop by at the new mfa building and see the wide collection of masterpieces.

Sanctuary

Sanctuary is rated by the Improper Bostonian as Boston's best new hotspot. Sanctuary is located in the Financial District on 189 State Street in Boston. It is opened Tuesday through Saturdays from 4PM to 2AM. Sanctuary has a unique atmosphere on three levels which consist of the main level, the basement, and the second floor. If you want to dance then you should go to the basement level of the establishment since that is where most of the dancing takes place. The only downfall is its very dark and can get extremely hot. On the main and second floor there is a little bit of dancing but many people are sitting and relaxing in booths. Drinks at Sanctuary can be a little expensive running at $5 for their cheapest beer and $10 for their cheapest mixed drink. Their dress code is pretty strict as they do not allow sneakers, work boots, athletic wear, or hats. If you are not down with the uptight lounge scene then I do not suggest going to sanctuary but if you are looking for a classy relaxing night out to drink a Martini or Cosmo this is the type of place you want to be. Cover charge can be a little pricey running at $10 but if you know someone and can get on a guestlist its $5. Also I went on a rainy night and there was not that many people there so me and my two friends actually got in for free. If you are driving to sanctuary and need to park in the garage there is a $3.00 off coupon on their website.

Beautiful night scene at Copley Square

I took this photo in front of the Boston Public Library at night. The buildings from left to right are Trinity Church, The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, The Westin Copley Place and The Boston Public Library.
I really like the photo, it has almost whole scene of the Copley square. I think there is so beautiful at night, please take a look when you walk through the street around Copley Square. You will find out the beauty of Boston!!
