If you like to see arts and paintings the mfa is a great place for you to visit. The Museum of Fine Arts (mfa) is located at 465 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA. It opens 7 days a week from Monday-Tuesday 10am-4:45pm, Wednesday-Friday 10am-9:45pm, and Saturday-Sunday 10am-4:45pm. Other special hours are posted on its website www.mfa.org. It's been a few years since I have visited the mfa. I remember I used to have a lot of fun when going to the mfa for class field trips. The mfa will have a new building opening in November 2010. The new mfa building will showcase Art of the Americas collection. The new building will have 4 levels with Level LG showcasing Ancient American, Native American, 17th -Century, and Maritime Art. Level 1 will showcase 18th-Century Art of the Colonial Americas and Early 19th-Century Art. Level 2 will showcase 19th-Century and Early 20th-Century Art. Last but not least, Level 3 will showcase 20th-Century Art through the mid-1970's. Be sure to stop by at the new mfa building and see the wide collection of masterpieces.
